CAMILLA’S ROOM INSTALL

I am so incredibly excited to FINALLY show you all the room I have been working on since August last year!

As soon as my bestie, Cynthia, found out she was pregnant with her 3rd baby and it would be another girl we got down to work.

Cynthia and I have such similar taste in design that it was so easy to work together with her to create such a beautiful room for her little girl.

Hardest part (to start with) is always the wallpaper. It was so important that we choose the perfect wallpaper for this room. We wanted it to be subtle, pretty and not too pink, but still girlie 🙂 This Spring Twig, wallpaper by the lovely people at Engblad & co was the PERFECT choice.

Cynthia and I were the only people who knew both the sex and the name for baby, which made it so fun having our little secret when all the personalised decor started arriving 🙂  One of the first pieces I got was the beautiful bunny head from Boramiri, the detail is just perfection so I couldn’t help but get one for Harlow’s new room too!

We really took the time with this room to search for the right items that would work perfectly and compliment each other, instead of just throwing a bunch of things together. We went back and forwards between a few different light pendants, some of which we waited for months to arrive.

Baby Camilla Faith arrived on Feb 21st at 4:40pm, 3 weeks before the chosen pendant! Which meant that she got to make an appearance in her room reveal images along with her gorgeous momma Cynthia.
