Salt Lab.

I had so many questions about this Magnesium oil by Salt Lab. when I posted about it on my instagram so I thought it would be better to do a blog with all the info you need!

Firstly, What is Magnesium oil?

Magnesium oil facilitates transdermal delivery (through the skin) of magnesium chloride. Most of the magnesium in oral capsule supplements is lost in the digestive system or eliminated by the body, not reaching the cells that need it. This super easy to use spray means that you can apply magnesium straight to tired muscles, sore joints or to your stomach for a sound sleep. It is safe for everyone to use, safe for athletes; approved by ASADA. Safe for the elderly & children. Safe for pregnancies & breastfeeding.

When I first heard about Magnesium oil from my sister only a couple of months ago (I’m late to the party I know ;)) I was so interested to learn more. I had just given birth to my third baby and my body was (and still is, but getting there) ruined from pregnancies and birthing 3 big babies. My sister had been using Salt Lab. for muscle recovery after the gym so I figured it wasn’t for me (because who has time for the gym with a newborn and 2 other kids?? am I right) However, I then read about all the other benefits so I had to get my hands on it, especially if it would help with sleep! And listen, I have a newborn so I’m not sleeping 12 hours a night but the minimal sleep that I am getting I want to be deep and uninterrupted.

How does Magnesium oil help with sleep?

“Magnesium is vital for the function of GABA receptors, which exist across all areas of the brain and nervous system. GABA is a calming neurotransmitter that the brain requires to switch off; without it, we remain tense, our thoughts race and we lie in bed staring at the ceiling. Salt Lab users now see their lives in two parts; one before they discovered Salt Lab, and one after.

Salt lab.”

My honest opinion, after having used it on myself and my husband, although as I said, I’m not getting a whole lot of sleep at this point in time (have children they said lol). The sleep that I do get is solid and I drift off to sleep really quickly and stay asleep until the baby wakes. My husband, he has noticed a huge improvement in his sleep, he doesn’t even wake up when the baby cries and we are only an arms length away (lucky him) I am so excited for when baby sleeps longer and I can get more of this deep amazing sleep!

For the kids.

On the Salt Lab. blog they have an amazing blog about the benefits of Magnesium for children which i’ll link HERE However to give you an overview. Children need Magnesium to help regulate hormones, which can help them stay calm. To help their little bodies make the most of other important vitamins and minerals, like calcium and vitamin D. AND most importantly, it can help them fall asleep and STAY asleep!!!

Spray it on their feet or give them a bath and hallelujah they sleep! SOLD

Who is SALT LAB.

Salt lab was developed by a Melbourne based personal trainer, nutritionist & health coach, Clementine. She knows her stuff alright. After suffering health issues and basically hitting rock bottom she discovered that Magnesium would play a huge part in her recovery. At that time magnesium oil was hard to come buy so the brilliant woman developed her own. SALT LAB.  🙂 Salt lab has gone on to achieve lots of success stories and is now known as the “Magic Oil”
